About Us

Helping Hands Africa is dedicated to the practice of compassion by responding to the basic human needs and addressing the root causes of problems affecting the poor and powerless people of Africa, especially women and children.

Our mission and objective is to build bridges for social and spiritual transformation, promoting self-sustainability by linking resources with needs. We strive to find long-term solutions to the problems confronting the African people.

Our main purpose is to serve the people of Africa, by promoting community development amongst the marginalised and poor urban and rural communities. We work with local community leaders in 35 African countries, helping them to develop and implement projects and programmes to respond to the most needy people in those communities. Projects such as community-based healthcare, education and nutrition for children, agricultural training, disaster response and HIV/AIDS prevention and care programmes.
