The Madagascar Street Kids Centre exists to provide a safe environment for street children of Antananarivo to be fed, clothed, educated and nurtured into a relationship with Jesus Christ. The centre provides hot meals every day for 340 children. Clothing is distributed twice a year to the children in the program. Education is provided in order to bring the children to an educational level which will enable them to enter either the public school system or a private school.

There are currently 120 children attending the centre who already have made the transition to a public or private school. Dedicated Christian workers provide Bible lessons, chapel services and relational evangelism in order to introduce the children and their families to Christ. Vocational Training in wood work, sewing and computer operation is provided for those who are already too old to enter the educational system.

The result: Children will have a future with perspective. Just like Naivo. As a young boy he came and attended the programme and today, rather than roaming the streets and making a living from criminal activities, he has a job with Antananarivo bus services. Like Naivo, there are still children waiting for a helping hand to put them on the right track in life. For a donation of 30 US-$ you can make this possible for a child. HHA would like to establish a trust fund of 40.000 US-$ to be able to help up to 100 children until they will find individual sponsorships.
