How Much of My Donation Reaches the Child? 
Helping Hands Africa greatly appreciates the relationship with the sponsor. We, therefore, put special emphasis on proper utilisation and accountability of any funds entrusted to us. As a donor, you would like your funds to be used to the greatest possible benefit for the children.
Approximately 88% of given funds will go to the children; out of which 70% are benefiting the children directly in form of food, educational materials, health and prevention measures, special outings, etc, while 18% of the funds indirectly benefit the children through the facilitation of the ministry, by purchasing gas and electricity, transport for the care givers, cleaning materials, training for the care givers and tokens of appreciation for the care givers. Between 10% and 12% of the donated funds are used to ensure and improve the quality of the ministry, proper utilisation of funds and accountability to the donors, visitations of the projects for monitoring and evaluation purposes, training and resource materials, and communication with the local Child Development Centres. |
